Some of the most fruitful years spent in defining the career are during College Years. Three to four years down the line the most of students enter in to so-called “Earning” population. Whatever the kid learns during these years fetch them the best opportunity in the forthcoming years.
What we have noticed with all the college graduates who are used to handling up to 1000Rs per month are suddenly put to manage a pay check of 25000Rs per month. Such a vibrant youth is overwhelmed by the amount of money the he receives, that he chooses to spend it rather than to save it!

This is where we rightly provide them the opportunity to learn the impact of finances in their life.

With, so many distractions, so many social problems, peer pressure and above all issues on sex, love, friendship. All these things give them very little time to think and plan their right choice of career. In younger age, there was always someone to give a little push behind their back. But at this age neither does the parents nor does the college authorities give importance of helping the students to choose their career. Though, some colleges do demonstrate to the students the opportunities available, they somehow don’t see the simple fact that students are insecure about their decision of choosing their career.

We have seen enough number of engineering students who have no idea as to why they are doing engineering or what is engineering even after graduating. That is why despite how much ever effort the colleges put for the benefit of the students, the effort turns futile.

Recognizing their strengths and encouraging them to pursue their interest is the important and urgent need of hour which our current system & the students have to work upon.

There are quite a few students who do not want to become a doctor or an engineer. They have unique talents, say like singing, dancing, quizzing etc. They end up taking up an undesired career due to parental & peer pressure and due to insecurity arising of not knowing how to make money by pursuing their interest. In such a situation, the Artha Gyaan workshop can be an eye opener to students and benefit them immensely.

The Artha Gyaan workshop aims to fill the void in financial education and entrepreneurship attitude, which is not taught in the current curriculum. Artha gyaan Workshop plays an important role for the students to recognize their strengths and gives them a practical insights of how to pursue their dreams with confidence .

Workshop Duration: 3-5 hours [based on interaction of the crowd]

Workshop Fee: 500Rs/Student
